 工商管理學(xué)院前身為成立于1983年的企業(yè)管理系?，F(xiàn)有教職員工93人，其中教授12人，副教授25人，博士65人；學(xué)生2263人，其中本科生2213人，研究生50人。設(shè)有工商管理、市場(chǎng)營(yíng)銷(xiāo)、人力資源管理、物流管理4個(gè)本科專(zhuān)業(yè)，有工商管理一級(jí)學(xué)科碩士學(xué)位授權(quán)點(diǎn)和企業(yè)管理二級(jí)學(xué)科碩士點(diǎn)。學(xué)院專(zhuān)業(yè)建設(shè)成績(jī)斐然，市場(chǎng)營(yíng)銷(xiāo)專(zhuān)業(yè)獲國(guó)家級(jí)特色專(zhuān)業(yè)、廣東省一流專(zhuān)業(yè)、廣東省名牌專(zhuān)業(yè)稱(chēng)號(hào)，工商管理專(zhuān)業(yè)獲廣東省特色專(zhuān)業(yè)和省級(jí)重點(diǎn)建設(shè)專(zhuān)業(yè)稱(chēng)號(hào)；《管理學(xué)》、《市場(chǎng)營(yíng)銷(xiāo)學(xué)》、《零售學(xué)》、《物流學(xué)》等課程獲廣東省精品資源共享課程稱(chēng)號(hào)，中國(guó)南方人才市場(chǎng)、北橫物流和沃爾瑪-好又多大學(xué)生實(shí)踐教學(xué)基地已建設(shè)成為廣東省示范校外實(shí)踐教學(xué)基地。廣東省質(zhì)量技術(shù)監(jiān)督局已建設(shè)成為廣東省聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)研究生示范基地。2010年以來(lái)，承擔(dān)國(guó)家級(jí)科研項(xiàng)目12項(xiàng)，省部級(jí)科研項(xiàng)目40多項(xiàng)，在UTD24、FT50、《管理世界》、《管理科學(xué)》、《管理評(píng)論》、《中國(guó)管理科學(xué)》等期刊公開(kāi)發(fā)表論文350多篇；出版著作27部；有1部入選首批國(guó)家“十二五”規(guī)劃教材。學(xué)院重視學(xué)生綜合素質(zhì)的培養(yǎng)，學(xué)生在全國(guó)、全省科技作品、創(chuàng)業(yè)計(jì)劃、物流設(shè)計(jì)、文藝體育等各級(jí)各類(lèi)競(jìng)賽活動(dòng)中屢獲殊榮。根據(jù)調(diào)查顯示，工商管理學(xué)院的畢業(yè)生綜合素質(zhì)高、能力強(qiáng)、有吃苦耐勞的精神，受到用人單位的普遍認(rèn)可，涌現(xiàn)出相當(dāng)一批知名企業(yè)的創(chuàng)始人和高層管理人才。學(xué)院設(shè)立了“寶供物流獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金”和“北潢助學(xué)金”，為品學(xué)兼優(yōu)及家庭經(jīng)濟(jì)條件困難的學(xué)生提供資助。
    Department of business administration was established in 1982, and the next year it recruited the first class of undergraduate students majored in Management. In 2008, college of business administration was established. The college has been trying to build a distinctive training mode cultivating innovative and applied talents, which has been sending thousands of graduates to society. In 1999, college of business administration raises the college motto “schemed, excellent, earned, and repaid. Now the college has four undergraduate specialties (business management, marketing, human resource management and logistics management), one graduate specialty authorizing master's degree in business administration and master's degree in enterprise management the two-level discipline. There are totally four departments including business management, marketing, human resource management and logistics management.After 30 years’ development, the college of business administration has 69 employees, including 12 professors, 22 associate professors. Dr and reading Dr. accounts for 62% of the total number of professional teachers. There are also 17 university visiting professors and 9 college visiting professors. Prof. Xiao,Yi and Prof. Peng, Leiqing, is named as Guangdong Star Teachers, as well as Prof. Wu, Jinchun and Lecturer Chen, Maochun is named as Guangdong Nanyue Excellent Teacher. There are also many excellent social service, such as Prof. Peng, Leiqing holds a concurrent post, such as deputy secretary-general of Guangdong commercial economy, managing director of China marketing research association in colleges and universities, etc.Great achievements have been made in college professional construction. For example, marketing major has been ranked in national level as feature major. “Management” was awarded the title of excellent course of Guangdong province. China south talent market---College students’ practice teaching base has built to be a demonstration of off-campus practice teaching base in Guangdong province.In recent five years, the college undertook five state-level scientific research projects and more than 40 provincial scientific research project. They published nearly 300 papers in journals such as “The management of the world”. The college also published 27 books, with one qualified in the first national Twelfth Five Year planning materials.The college invites more than 20 well-known experts, such as Prof. Zhou, Nan from City University of HK, to hold various lectures every year. Students have achieved outstanding winning records in all kinds of national and provincial competitions. College annually held brand planning promotion competition since 2000. Nevertheless, the college has set up Treasure for Logistics Scholarship and North Huang Grants to provide funding for the students that are excellent but in poor families.
